After many questions and rumors, AVN has announced that the GAYVN’s will go on and be held for 2010!!

So… Unfortunately nominations can only be made by “industry members” (which I disagree with), but I have a special request if you are a industry member (we can call it my birthday present from you if you like ;P) and it simply involves an email to GAYVN staff listed below followed by a quick log on to the GAYVN 2010 Nomination page once you are supplied a username and password for voting. I am asking those who agree and support me as the newbie for 2010 to please please please vote for me for one or more of the following: 2010 NEWCOMER OF THE YEAR, BEST PORN STAR SITE (TuckerScott.com), Best Blog, and/or WEB PERFORMER OF THE YEAR (since most of my work has been mostly web at this point).

Industry members who would like to make pre-nom suggestions to the GAYVN Awards staff may email prenom@gayvn.com for a username, password and link to the submissions page. The pre-nom website, usernames and passwords will be active until 12:01 a.m. PT March 6. Until then, users may access their lists to make additions, deletions and corrections.

“You are free to suggest as many items as you like in each category,” said Janet Gibson, chief operating officer for parent company AVN Media Network. “Do note, however, that being shrewd about your suggestions will yield a more desirable result than creating a laundry list of titles, not all of which may represent your best work or your company’s.”

So as you know, last night was Scotty B’s new porn show held at Dink’s Restaraunt in Palm Springs! Scotty asked Lex Sabre and myself to be the two featured porn stars lastnight and man was it loads of fun, plus 11 of you getting this email right now are NEW members of TuckerScott.com VIP Club! While in New York City last weekend for my birthday, I couldn’t help but be inspired by this vary spot where so many of the men and woman of the LGBT family that I look up to had collectively made a decision that night to stand up for who they were and no longer fall victim to the political harassment’s and public acts of hate against homosexuals. As I stood posing for the photo, an incredible sense of power and honor rush through me, while also a sense of humility entered as I thought of the men and women’s feet that stood in that vary spot years before and fought for many of the rights I as a gay man have this vary day. Yes, I am reminded that we still fight for our rights and face many oppositions with same-sex marriage, but with the inspiration of what began at Stonewall, the dream of one day having a spouse and sharing the same rights as a married man and woman aren’t worth giving up on!

I know that many of us have experienced the roller coaster of the struggling economy, but one thing we do have to offer if not monetary support of Human Rights, NOH8 campaign and other equal rights movements would be volunteering your time to strengthen our voice. Many of the local organization offices offer resources that allow anyone who is willing to take part at your pace and availability. The Human Rights Campaign offers a program that allows you to enter neighborhoods in teams and speak with individuals that are just not educated on what we as gay men and women are facing, these individuals believe and vote still based on what was embedded in them growing up and threw mostly the opinion of others in their lives! So many of our LGBT family do not give support at all, thinking their vote during the election was enough! That’s just simply not the case! We need your voice to remain consistent and in a anti-violent yet demanding state of urgency! And if you are able to support the movements in a financial way, don’t wait for it to come to you on the sidewalks of your local gay neighborhood, but rather go right now to the website and donate as every second counts to the next decision to limit our rights!

Well Hello!

First of all, my apologies for the delayed blog regarding the Cybersocket Awards held Monday night in Los Angeles as well as updating  you guys and gals on my trip to New York City! One thing at a time though, so I thought I would choose to put together this blog about the awards! As many of you know, this was officially my first awards show since becoming a part of the adult industry. I actually expected to be the kid that no one really knew of and found it to be entirely opposite of that!

Upon arriving at the awards I was greeted by Scotty B and asked to be interviewed by Sister Roma and Scott Tanner on the Red Carpet. Everyone was so warm and welcoming and by the end of the night I had secured new work as well as been approached by recent companies that I had been submitted to about working out the details and making it happen! It’s always a lift of spirit to be the one approached and not the one approaching! Some of the great people and studios there being; Next Door Buddies (Cody Cummings, Mason Wyler, Tommy D, Rod Daily), Randy Blue, Dominic Ford, Michael Lucas & Mr. Pam, Brent Corrigan, Brent Everett, the power couple Benjamin Bradley and Roman Heart, Falcon Studios, Chi Chi LaRue, Belami Online and so many more!

As always, there were many moments of drama and bitterness in the air regarding the award winners for the night. But just like any business with an awards show, you should understand there is more to it than just readers voting! Some of the winners, I’ve never personally heard of before, but for the most part I felt that the majority were well deserved.

Being the mess that I am when it comes to not knowing when to slow down, I ran off to the Suite 703 Launch Party @ Tigerheat tonight to hang and party a little with my friends, Lex Sabre, Josh Griffin, Cameron Marshall, and Riley Price. We also managed to run into Jeremy Bilding, Ryan Raz, Trevor Knight, Jayden Grey, Brandon Wilde, and Jason Sechrest before the night was over! I guess I should mention that Trevor decided to expose his “blessing” to us all in the green room while others cuddled and some made me want to shoot myself by the end.

Overall, in the end that evening was great and Suite 703 did a great job putting it together! Congrats to Suite 703 on their new site launch!

This morning, I arrived on set in the hills of Hollywood at a beautiful mansion with a “hawt” pool and waterfall being told you are a pool boy today ;P Job description of pool boy is basically to lay around the pool and look cute haha! What rocked even more is that I got paid to do it! On set with me was my former scene partner and good friend, Jeremy Bilding, whom I must say is one of the funniest guys I’ve met in the industry! Previously, when I worked with Jeremy on Chi Chi’s Live and Raw, it was really the first time we had talked and were just getting to know each other (very closely by the end). Today was a great opportunity for me to see the behind the scenes side of Jeremy and he was such a pleasure to have on set and interact with!

So I’m sitting here on the floor looking at my computer and just snapped back into reality and realized that I was totally blanking out on my computer screen! My initial thought was, what was I doing on here? Then I remembered that I had already completed my normal cycle of checking emails, visiting my favorite couple sites and then checking facebook and twitter like five hundred times in that same order over and over again due to a lack of better things to do at the moment! When I think about that part alone, it’s rather sad and depressing as I really would like to have something more productive to do that ended with a product of self achievement and worth.

The day started with an early rise and shine at 9:00 am followed by breakfast (Go Lean and a banana) and then off to the coffee shop for a cup of pick my ass up which prepared me for my agenda of apartment hunting! My best friend and I have been talking for a while about getting a place together and finally we have decided to take some action and not just talk about it! I must admit that some small part of me is questioning if Los Angeles is the right place for me at this point in my life. Growing up my family tried really hard to instill in me the foundations of a business mind and keeping order in my life. Hence when I made the decision to emerge myself in the adult industry, I approached it from a total business mindset. After being asked to be featured in Freshmen Magazine, I saw an opportunity to supply a demand while strategically alining myself to learn all areas of the industry and production in order to become a director and content provider myself. However, with the ever changing industry it seems that what I had envisioned coming of this is well… a thing of the past. Just like when I started working in the music industry, I lived through the evolution of the negative affects of the internet on the industry which resulted in lost profits, jobs, and shattered dreams. Now, I enter yet another industry in the middle of these changes and consumers “sharing and stealing” content from sites that might be justified by the viewer, but in the end was a service and labor created by someone that most likely will loose their source of income and living now. To top that off, that same person that downloaded the content and didn’t pay for the service to begin with will be most likely be the one that emails the studio or actor and complains that membership/videos are to expensive not realizing that due to the decrease in purchasing and increase in illegal download sharing is the major reason for this. Seriously, the cost of producing a quality scene is not cheap and as a model myself, what we get paid is nice for the time it takes to film the scene, but sad when it comes to analyzing what we as people give up of ourselves! As an exhibitionist, I love being naked and showing off, but I as a person do not like being taken advantage of and not respected. Random I know, but just a thought that keeps running through my mind when I think about the position I am currently facing. Who knows, the idea of keeping the content I end up providing on TuckerScott.com might need to be low budget and very amateur to attract this new wave of loyal fans.

In addition to all of these things going on, my birthday is coming up this weekend (February 7th) and although I don’t mind getting older, I do realize that this is another year of my life and on my birthday I always find myself looking in the mirror asking myself if I am proud of what I accomplished in that year. I will be facing that mirror in New York City for the first time ever! Not to mention that I will be staying in the home of legendary director, Jerry Douglas and his husband. From the mutual friends we have and the stories I’ve heard, I’m most excited to have this opportunity to soak up as much knowledge and advice as humanly possible from this man of wisdom and such a creditable history! I will also have the chance to spend time with Mr. Pam whom has been very successful in this industry as a videographer and has worked with Jerry Douglas on such films as, “Buckleroos”. She is now exclusive to Lucas Entertainment in NYC. Trust me, I will be making many videos including interviews for the blog while there and will keep you all up to date on here as well as on Twitter!

To top the recent chain of thoughts and events off, I’ve been sort of dating a guy for bit and it’s kinda starting to stress me out. As much as I want to spend time getting to know him, it always seems there is no time due to all the tug of war games of life. The reason I word it as “think I have finally found peace” is because I continue to question if it’s my problem and I’m overreacting. I don’t want to end up loosing friendship, but he doesn’t seem to be the easiest to talk to at times and I don’t know if he really knowswhat he wants at the moment and just want say, let’s just be friends. Sure would be much easier on me if he would, as I just sit and analyze what’s being said, what’s not being said and why he does the things he does sometimes.
